The awards are A+ Attitude (A-shaped stuffy), Heart of a Hero (puppy with a heart around his eye), and Participation Award (green megaphone). We get to go to the office and get a prize. We sometimes also receive Superstar caution signs or star trophies on our desks. These awards are special privileges.

Multiplication
by Arieanna, Matthew, and Isabelle
Multiplication is when you take two factors and multiply them. For example, 5 X 3 = 15. When you want to find out the product for 5 X anything, you count 5s that many times. Anything times 1 is that same factor. Also, anything times 0 is 0. We have to know 0-10 by the end of the year. We also start timed tests next week. One minute and 20 problems. Multiplication is a fun math operation.
