Zoey, her brother and dad made clay from dirt. After filtering out the sand, rocks, leaves, and other materials with a screen, they hung it in old shirt to dry out. They crated marbles, fossil imprints, ornaments, and other decorations. While waiting for it to dry, they built a kiln with bricks over a hole in the ground. Sticks and logs were used as fuel to fire the clay pieces. Zoey’s favorite part was painting them when they were finished.

Readers and Writers,
I want to assure you that your final paragraphs were without errors. Though there are some typos in these Pantagraph publications (as well as last month), they are no fault of yours. We spent many days writing, revising, editing, and making final copies in the neatest handwriting. You did an awesome job! Mrs. Foley
Lyla has been hard at work on her remote learning activities. Good job on your math and writing!
